Community Programs

Families with young children may explore culture and nature through the Aay-Ko Indigenous Nature-Based Playgroup on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

Topics of exploration: plant processing techniques of drying, soaking, leaching, dyeing, cooking/roasting.

Topics of exploration:  Native plant gardening/landscaping, native plant seed collecting/exchange, Indigenous community initiatives (land sovereignty movement, stewardship, TEK, use of fire), and foraging in Marin County.
